Yes, all honey contains traces of pollen. This is how it can help you with hay fever. However at this point in time, there is no reliable widely-accepted scientific research indicating that local honey, or any honey for that matter, has positive effects on allergies. Until there is a significant amount of research showing positive effects. we cannot say that honey will help with this. We do however , have many customers who have reported benefits after taking our honey, so you may find it helps you as well. The best way to find out is to try it yourself and see!
Why does RAW honey crystallize?
Crystallized honey is still honey! It’s perfectly safe to eat and doesn’t mean that your honey has gone bad. In fact, it’s just the opposite! It means that your honey is natural and oh so good. You can take advantage of the hard, crystallized honey and love its complex texture. Most RAW or unheated honey has a natural tendency to crystallize over time but it does not affect the honey.
Why can't you feed honey to a baby less than one year of age?
It's highly recommended that honey should not be given to infants under the age of one because of the rare possibility of being infected with the bacteria that causes botulism (Clostridium botulinum). Once a toddler reaches one year old, their digestive system is mature enough to kill any botulism.
